**During July and August, there is a minimum booking duration of 2 weeks.
End cleaning. To ensure the high standards of the cottages are maintained throughout the season, each is given a professional clean at the end of every stay. You can be confident that your holiday home will be spotless for your arrival. We provide fresh linen, and your beds will be ready made for you. Please note: we DO NOT provide towels or tea towels, so please bring your own
Power Costs: We provide a generous daily allowance for electricity of 40Kw/hour, and during the warmer summer months this is usually more than sufficient. However, during cooler periods, should you need more, electricity is charged at 0.20 euros per extra Kw/hour used.
Firewood:We provide a basket of wood in La Vacherie, La Lapiniere and La Fontaine on your arrival. Should you require more, you can buy from any of the local supermarkets, or from us at 10 Euros per bin-full.
Pets: Well behaved pets are very much welcomed at La bourdonnerie, however we ask a one off fee of 20 Euros per animal to cover our extra cleaning costs.
Booking prices and terms
If you want to make an enquiry about specific dates, please use the form here. If the property is available, we will then send you a link to an online booking form. This form will confirm your booking requirements, and give you a link to pay the 30% deposit (or full amount, your choice) online. Whilst we use Paypal to take this payment, you can pay on the same link using a credit card should you not have a Paypal account. Upon receipt of your payment, your holiday home is ‘reserved’, until such point that the payment is received, it is not. You will then receive a booking confirmation document, which includes additional information about your stay.
Security deposit: We want you to feel at home here, and to this end, unlike other holiday rentals, we do not request a security deposit for breakages etc. We ask guests, however, to treat the properties with due respect. Should you break something, please let us know. You don’t need to replace it, as we often have spares, and unless its an object of high value, its unlikely we’d ask you to pay.
Final payment: the remainder payment, should you have elected to only pay the deposit up-front, is payable 2 months before the beginning of your trip. You should receive a final payment request from us, if you do not receive one, please contact us to arrange payment directly. The payment permits usage of the holiday home you chose from 3pm on the first day of the booking (La Fontaine 4pm), until 10am on the final day of your booking. Please try not to be late out of your holiday home on the last day, we have a limited ‘window’ of time within which to clean all the properties ready for the next guests!
