Farm holidays in Normandy, Cotentin, Manche, Northern France

About the Normandy holiday farm
The farm consists of a main farmhouse (where we live year round!), and 4 cottages, two of which have been lovingly converted from a former barn on the property. The farm has seen many uses: previously a dairy farm, we have a photo from the 1800s showing the then owner with his wife, children and pig in front of the farm house. Whilst the farm is no longer ‘active’, we still keep ducks, goats and chickens on site, as well as 3 hard working cats. Kids love interacting with the animals here whilst on their holiday, and especially feeding the chickens and ducks and fetching the eggs!
Holidays on the farm in Normandy
The farm itself is big: in addition to the landscaped gardens, we also have a large field (3.5 hectares) which is used as a hay meadow, around which we mow a path year-round so that holiday guests can take a stroll. There’s a duck pond, a frog pond, and a stream running through the property, and there are chairs and benches provided if you want to just sit and take it all in. Take a look at the photos in the slideshow of the farm here.
So for the perfect farm holiday in Normandy, come and stay at La Bourdonnerie!
