In addition to the French ambience of Normandy, the holiday homes at La Bourdonnerie offer all modern comforts: although each of our holiday homes does not have a sea view, it does have Wi-Fi and German cable television.
We have set ourselves the goal of offering our guests an all-round experience: holidays in an original French farmhouse with modern comfort and many opportunities for leisure activities in the surrounding area.
Our holiday homes are essentially 300 years old. Over the last few years we have gradually restored and converted all the buildings on the La Bourdonnerie farm. The now finished holiday homes in Normandy are not directly on the sea, but in 10 minutes you can also be directly on the beach. You even have several beaches to choose from, which is perhaps even better than being limited to the beach and sea right on your doorstep.
Why our Normandy holiday apartments are better: You don't come back to an anonymous and featureless bungalow after a day at the beach. These types of holiday homes right by the sea have sprung up - like everywhere else in Europe - wherever many people like to go on family vacations. Such a bungalow holiday home may be located directly on the sea in Normandy, but it is not part of the Normandy cultural landscape.

Not only are our three holiday homes each a carefully renovated and fully furnished homely accommodation for parents with children or for couples who want to spend a few quiet days in Normandy: the location in the middle of an extensive national park on the Contentin Peninsula in the northwest of the Normandy, offers many possibilities. For us, a Normandy holiday home is not just for a day at the sea. You live in the middle of nature and can explore the inner part of the peninsula right from your front door.
La Bourdonnerie is also located on the side of the peninsula facing the Atlantic, so from your Normandy holiday home you are not only very close to the sea, but you can also take the ferry to Jersey to visit the famous Flower Island. We also have a whole flock of ducks and chickens right on the farm for a children's petting zoo holiday. There are also goats, cats, grouse and goldfish in our two ponds - in which of course frogs jump around.

Of course, there are also plenty of play areas around the farm - complete with all the trimmings. There is a large sandpit, swings, slides, swing ball, badminton net, a soccer goal and a huge trampoline!
